EG Engineering Group LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the confidentiality and integrity of information provided by our clients. This Privacy Policy governs data submitted through egengineeringgroup.com, our client portal, and our SOLIY AI platform.
This policy applies to all users, including visitors, registered portal clients, and companies using SOLIY to generate quality documentation. We encourage you to read this document in full before submitting any proprietary engineering information through our platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect two categories of information:
A. Information You Provide Directly
- Company name, department, and approver information entered in document generation forms
- Part numbers, process names, materials, process steps, and existing quality controls
- Industry classification selected during document generation
- Contact form submissions including name, email address, and message content
- Portal account credentials (email address and encrypted password)
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and request timestamps (collected by Vercel infrastructure)
- Basic page interaction data for platform performance monitoring
- Session tokens for authenticated portal access
3. How We Use Your Information
Information you submit is used solely for the following purposes:
- Generating quality documentation (PFMEA, Work Instructions, Control Plans, HACCP plans) on your behalf
- Delivering generated documents to you in downloadable format
- Responding to contact and consultation inquiries
- Maintaining authenticated access to the client portal
- Operating and improving the reliability of our platform
We do not use your proprietary engineering data for marketing, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond fulfilling the specific service request you initiated.
4. Data Processing & AI Systems
SOLIY uses large language model technology provided by Anthropic, Inc. to generate engineering documents. The following applies to all AI-assisted document generation:
Stateless Processing
Your input data is processed in real time and is not written to any persistent database. Once the document is delivered, your data is no longer held by our system.
Session Isolation
Each document generation request is fully isolated. Data submitted by one company is never accessible to, combined with, or visible to any other user or session.
No AI Model Training
Anthropic's API terms prohibit the use of API inputs to train or improve their AI models. Your proprietary engineering data does not contribute to any AI training dataset.
No Document Retention
Generated documents are not stored on our servers. We have no access to your documents after they are downloaded.

Client Template Feature — Document Uploads
The SOLIY Client Template feature allows enterprise clients to upload source documents and blank templates for AI-assisted document generation. The following additional terms apply:
File Storage
Uploaded documents (source files and blank templates) are stored in your dedicated company folder in Supabase secure cloud storage. Files are stored per company profile and are accessible only to authorized portal users.
Document Processing
Uploaded files are sent to the Anthropic API for reading and content extraction. Anthropic processes these files transiently and does not retain or train on their contents per their API terms.
Scanned Document Handling
Scanned or image-based PDFs are processed using Claude Vision AI, which reads the document visually. The same zero-retention policy applies — no image data is stored after processing.
Company Isolation
Each client company's files are stored in isolated folders. Files from one company are never accessible to or combined with files from another company.
5. AI Document Accuracy & Limitations
Important Notice Regarding AI-Generated Documents
All documents generated by SOLIY are AI-assisted drafts. They must be reviewed and approved by a qualified quality engineer before use in production, customer submission, or audit presentation. EG Engineering Group is not liable for outcomes resulting from use of any document without qualified engineering review.
SOLIY uses artificial intelligence to generate quality documentation based on information you provide. By using SOLIY, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- AI-generated documents may contain errors, omissions, or technically inaccurate information. The AI does not have direct knowledge of your specific machinery, production environment, defect history, or customer-specific requirements unless explicitly provided by you.
- All SOLIY outputs are starting-point drafts. They are not certified engineering documents and are not a substitute for professional engineering judgment.
- It is your sole responsibility to review, validate, and approve all documents before submitting them to any customer, regulatory body, or using them in a production environment.
- EG Engineering Group does not warrant that any AI-generated document will meet the specific requirements of any OEM (including but not limited to Ford, GM, Stellantis, BMW), certification body, or regulatory standard.
- The use of SOLIY outputs without qualified engineering review is at your own risk.
6. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties for commercial purposes. Data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

7. Security

- TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted to and from our platform
- SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure through Vercel
- Authenticated, encrypted API endpoints for all AI processing
- No shared databases between client accounts
- Secure authentication for portal access
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we implement commercially reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your information, we will notify affected parties in accordance with applicable law.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Right of Access — Request confirmation of whether we hold personal data about you
- Right to Deletion — Request deletion of any personal data we retain
- Right to Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Right to Data Portability — Request a copy of data we hold in a structured format
- Right to Opt Out — Opt out of any marketing communications at any time
